WHO IS HEADED FOR THE PARKS FINAL?

Haverhill (pictured) met Flempton on a very busy day at Newton Green. The front two matches traded blows with a one hole win both ways. The third Haverhill pair won 5 up but the scores ended level as the back Flempton group won by the same score. Paul Bartlett and Gerry Scott were nominated by Haverhill for the play off and they won the play off at the first extra hole.

At Flempton Halesworth and Felixstowe Ferry met up. After a close match played in great spirits Felixstowe Ferry ran out the winners by 5 holes booking their place in the final.

The final will be played at Bungay and Waveney Valley on Thursday 4th September.
