Teddy Hall wins Suffolk Punch Trophy

Ufford Park Golf Club was the venue for The Suffolk Punch Trophy, an Order of Merit event in the Woodward Markwell Race to Aldeburgh The competition was played on Monday 31st May and attracted a field of 37 competitors.

The course was playing difficult as evidenced by the scores where Teddy Hall and James Holland lead the way after the morning round, both carding 77’s with Sid NeenanIvan Fryer and Oliver Robertson all on 78.

Hall added an afternoon 75 which saw him win the event and take the Suffolk Punch Trophy on a total of 152. He finished one shot ahead of Declan Condon who added an afternoon 74 to his opening round of 79 for 153. Josh Robertson was 3rd with 79-75-154 with Sid Neenan 78-77-155 and Ivan Fryer 78-78-156 4th and 5th respectively.

The winner of the nett Suffolk Punch Trophy was Fraser Johnson, 10 handicap, who carded 81-84 for 165 nett 145
