Suffolk v Northamptonshire
Suffolk 1st team entertained a strong Northamptonshire side in their final Anglian League match of the season at Hintlesham Golf Club on Sunday 1st September.
The morning foursomes saw Northamptonshire establish a 3-1 lead, Suffolk’s only point coming from Sam Debenham and Habebul Islam. The afternoon singles were shared 4-4, with Suffolk’s points coming from George Fricker who beat Walker Cup Team member Ben Jones 4 & 3, Jed Seeley, Sam Debenham and Habebul Islam, leaving Northamptonshire winners by 7-5

The 2nd team were also be against Northamptonshire at Milton Golf Club (Peterborough) The morning foursomes saw them finish level at 2-2 with their points coming from Ben Sayers and Teddy Hall and Greg Hills and Will Pearce. Singles wins from Chris Bartrum, James Tyler, Toby Ayles and Will Pearce, both making their County debut, and a halve from Ben Sayers saw Suffolk achieve and extremely good win by 6.5 to 5.5
