Suffolk Seniors entertained an extremely strong Lincolnshire Seniors side, in their final East Anglian League match, at Ipswich Golf Club on Wednesday 31st August.

The morning Foursomes saw Lincolnshire establish a 3.5 to 1.5 lead, Suffolk’s points coming from 3 halved matches.

In the afternoon singles Suffolk took 4 of 10 points on offer with wins from Peter Brady, making his County debut, Simon Goldsmith, Steve Crosby and James O’Doherty. leaving Lincolnshire winners by 9.5 to 5.5

The title will be decided when Lincolnshire play Norfolk in their final match, Suffolk finishing in 3rd place.
