Seniors 6 Man at Chelmsford.

Wednesday 16th July saw the first round to the Seniors County Qualifier that this year is hosted by Essex at Chelmsford GC.

Paul Buckle (pictured after his seniors win in 2024) finished the day tied second after a great round of level par 68 which is just one stroke off the lead. Meanwhile Paul was receiving great support from the rest of the team with Steve Duffety on T11 after scoring 73 and Captain Graham Sykes one back after a 74. After the round was over BBO were leading with Suffolk 1 shot back in this 5 scores from 6 event. It is very tight at the top however with Sussex, Surrey and Kent all within 5 shots of the leader.

Thursday saw the second round. It was a tough day at the office but Suffolk competed well and ended up in 5th place. Sussex took the honours and after a combined score of +15 today deserved their victory. It was a close thing with BBO in second five shots back.
