Parks reaches the semi final stage

Last Thursday saw the quarterfinals of the Parks trophy competition. Halesworth (pictured above) faced Bury St Edmunds. After a close match Halesworth ran out winners by 5 holes. Meanwhile at Haverhill the home side faced a stiff challenge from Ipswich before prevailing by 4 holes.

Flempton entertained Gorleston and were victors by 10 holes. At Felixstowe Ferry the battle with Southwold in the seaside derby went to the home side after some great golf was played.

The semi finals will be played on Thursday 14th August and will be

Haverhill v Flempton at Newton Green GC and Halesworth v Felixstowe Ferry at Flempton GC
