SEG Under 18 League

On Saturday the 21st of May Suffolk U18s played their second triangular league match of the season against Bedfordshire and Norfolk at Barnham Broom Golf Course.

This was a must win fixture for Suffolk and the boys didn’t disappoint. Every player in the squad contributed to the points tally with momentum coming from some early big wins from Sid Neenan, Callum Hughes and Reuben Harvey. Unfortunately a full 360 degree lip out on the last saw Callum Hughes perfect run come to an untimely end, but he still returned a very solid performance to get 1 1/2 points.

Dominic Rudd, Reuben Harvey, Josh Harrison and Sid Neenen all secured the maximum 2 points and won their matches comfortably.

This puts Suffolk at the top of the league with one match remaining in the regular season. Destiny is in our own hands but we still need to perform in the last league match of the season in 6 weeks time.

Result:

Suffolk beat Norfolk 7 to 1

Suffolk beat Bedfordshire 5 to 3

Bedfordshire beat Norfolk 6 to 2
