UNDER 14S WIN SEG LEAGUE AT FIRST ATTEMPT

Manger, Ian Woodhead, reports that at the first attempt the under 14 side have obtained sufficient points to win their league even though Middlesex, Bedfordshire and Norfolk still have one match to play. It was a great team performance with Middlesex and Bedfordshire tying 4 -4 it meant that Suffolk with victories over Middlesex 2 – 6 and Bedfordshire 2.5 – 5.5 are champions come what may.

Special mention to Ethan McCleary, Jacob Severn, Lucas Bond, Max Elliot and Finlay Edwards who all contributed 2 points on the day.

Congratulations though to the management team of Ian and coach Charlie Sadler who were present on the day and especially the parents who organised a practice round on Saturday and stayed down there.
