Match report from recent U18’s friendly
The County U18’s played a practice match against Halesworth Hambro team at Halesworth golf Club on Saturday 2nd April.
Despite a valiant effort from Suffolk , led by Reuben Harvey making his debut as U18 captain, Halesworth came out victorious winning by 3 overall. Stand out performances from new pairing of Rudd and Brinded who won their match by 6 carding a 2 under par round.
The lower handicap senior golfers battled it out for a place in the quarterfinals on Thursday and the cup is what they want to win
The u18 side finished its SEG League campaign at Haverhill on Sunday.
