“The Glorious World of Golf by the legendary golf writer – Peter Dobereiner”

What was the last series you watched on Netflix?
Martin is not a Netflix Fan , but he is really enjoying the Ipcress File on the ITV Hub
When did you last take a golf lesson?
“Just the Friday before last 18th March” – in preparation for the season ahead maybe?
Who is your favourite Golfer of all time and who would be in your dream 4 ball with you ?
“The Golden Bear himself, Jack Nicklaus , Ben Hogan and Gene Sarazen” – we sense a real traditionalist here
Who is you Favourite Football team?

“Has to be Arsenal” – as we said before a real traditionalist here – harking back to old glories maybe…
Do you have a favourite Ball Marker? Or a Golf Superstition?
“No major superstitions – but I do have a lovely Ball Marker from the next Solheim Cup match venue in Spain – Finca Cortesin”
What make of ball do you play with?
“Bridgestone”
What Driver do you have currently?

“Ping G400”
Hybrid or driving iron?
“Has to be my trusted Hybrid”
Longest Iron in your bag?
“5 iron these days”
How Many Wedges are in your bag?
“Just the 2 – both of these are ping copper beryllium originals from the 1980’s”

Suffolk Team Championship (18 holes, teams of 3 from each club at Rookery Park) – Aldeburgh GC, with Bury St Edmunds GC chasing them close….
Suffolk Amateur Championship (54 holes at Halesworth) – Tyler Weaver
Suffolk Open Championship (36 holes at Newton Green, includes Pro’s) – Lawrence Dodd
Race to Aldeburgh (the grand final which rewards consistency across the year) – Too close to call this one , maybe Will Wright ?
