Tony Garnett Cup

The Tony Garnett Cup, formerly the Dell Bower Classic, took place at Hintlesham Golf Club on Monday 18th October. A combination of PGA Trainees and amateurs were invited to participate, 20 in total.

Round 1 saw Tyler Weaver (Bury St Edmunds) return an eight under par 64 with Calvin Sherwood 66 and Sam Forgan 67. Forgan added a 65 in round 2 for a 12 under par total of 132 to be the leading professional and take the Dell Bower Trophy.Calvin Sherwood being the runner up on 141.Sarah Attwood was 3rd in the professional competition on 143.

Tyler Weaver was the leading amateur winning the Tony Garnett Cup after adding an afternoon 68 to finish on 12 under par 132. He was followed by Teddy Hall (Bury St Edmunds) with 72-72 for 144 and Nellie Ong (Eaton) who also finished on 144 with rounds of 71 and 73.
