Tait wins Seaton Robson

Aldeburgh Golf Club held their annual open competition for the Seaton Robson Trophy, a Suffolk Order of Merit event in the Woodward Markwell “Race to Aldeburgh”on Friday 21st June. 48 competitors took part.

Gregor Tait, a plus 1 handicapper from the home club shot the lowest gross score of 139 with rounds of 70 and 69. Will Wright, also plus 1 from Aldeburgh had rounds of 70 and 74 for 144 with Jed Seeley, scratch from Newton Green a shot behind on 145 with 75 and 70.

The Seaton Robson Trophy goes to the player recording the lowest nett score over 36 holes which was won by Gregor Tait with 141 from Nigel Robson, 5 handicap Aldeburgh on 142 with Matt Andrews 3rd on 144.
