Tait finishes 2nd in the 2023 Australian Master of the Amateurs Tournament
The Australian Master of the Amateurs Tournament was held at Southern Golf Club, Keysborough, Victoria 3-6 January 2023. 102 male competitors took part with a cut made after 45 holes with the leading 45 players progressing to play the final round.
Gregor Tait,(Aldeburgh) successfully made the cut after rounds of 67,71,and 68 for a 10 under par total of 206. He added a final round 1 under par to finish on 11 under par and take second place.
The winner was john Gough who returned 64,74,67 and 68 for 273- 15 under par.
