Suffolk 5th in Eastern Inter County Foursomes

Suffolk were competing against 8 other counties in the annual Eastern Inter County Foursomes held at Seacroft Golf Club Skegness over the weekend of the 19/21 May.

Suffolk beat Northamptonshire 3-2, Cambridgeshire 3-2 and Bedfordshire 4-1, halving with Norfolk and Essex, and losing to BB & O 1.5-3.5, Lincolnshire 1.5- 3..5 and Leicestershire 2-3 leaving them with a total of 20 points which saw them finish in 5th place. BB & O won the event by 0.5 points from Lincolnshire.

Suffolk’s highest points scorers were Max Weaver, Ben Sayers and Teddy Hall all on 10 points. Harry Brinded returned 9 points, only playing in 6 of the 8 matches.
