Success for Suffolk Teams in final Anglian League matches- Suffolk 2nds take the 2nd team title

Suffolk took on Cambridgeshire in their final Anglian League matches of 2022. The first team were away at Brampton Park. Two Juniors, Harry Brinded and Reuben Harvey were making their debuts.

The morning foursomes were halved with Mony Scowsill and Gregor Tait winning their game whilst Rueben Harvey and Harry Brinded and Jack Cardy and Patrick Spraggs halved.

Wins in the afternoon from Craig Nurse, Russell Oakey, Rueben Harvey, and Monty Scowsill together with a halve from Brinded secured a 6.5 to 5.5 win.

The second team were at Diss 

The morning foursomes saw Suffolk take a commanding 4-0 lead with wins from James Tyler and Chris Bartrum, Dan Hedges and Ben Aves, Dan Smailes and Josh Driver and Marc Duszynski and Adam Golding.

Wins in the afternoon singles from Bartrum, Aves, Tyler, Driver, Hedges and Smailes saw them win by 10-2

Leicestershire & Rutland defeated Lincolnshire in their final match to leave the way clear for Suffolk to win the 2nd Team Title. Congratulation to James and the boys.
