PARKS TROPHY SEMI FINALS RESULTS
The first semi final took place at Bungay and Waveney Valley where holders Halesworth faced Rookery Park who are pictured right. The opening match went the way of the holders but thereafter Rookery Park were very much in the ascendency as they romped to a 15 hole victory. Halesworth can be proud of a strong defence of the title.
The second was a Southwold, which in the opinion of the writer, was twice as windy. Teams from Felixstowe Ferry and Bungay and Waveney Valley faced off. This was a very close affair with the front two groups for Bungay winning convincingly and the last two from Felixstowe doing likewise. The final calculations showed a 2 hole win for Bungay and Waveney and a place in the final.
The final will be held at Ufford Park Golf Club on Thursday 5th September 1030hrs start.
