Mixed results for Suffolk in Anglian League
Suffolk were away in an Anglian League match against Leicestershire & Rutland at Cosby Golf Club on Sunday 3rd July.
They suffered a 4-0 defeat in the morning foursomes from which they were unable to recover taking 3.5 points from the afternoon singles leaving Leicestershire & Rutland winners by 8.5 to 3.5.
The 2nds were home to Leicestershire & Rutland 2nds at Diss Golf Club. The morning foursomes saw the teams level at 2-2 Suffolk’s points coming from Craig Nurse and Dan Smailes and James Tyler and Chris Bartrum.
A fine afternoon performance saw wins from Josh Driver, Marc Duszynski, Smailes, Bartrum and Tyler leaving them winners by 7-5
