JUNIOR LEAGUE MATCH RESULT – UNDER 16
A windy Wensum Valley saw the second round of fixtures between Suffolk, Norfolk and Bedfordshire at under 16 level. In many ways it was a similar encounter to the first round except on this occasion Bedfordshire won both their matches 6 – 2 against Suffolk and 5 – 3 against Norfolk. Norfolk and Suffolk fought out a resounding 4 – 4 draw meaning that with one round to go the points are currently Norfolk 5, Bedfordshire 4 and Suffolk 3.
You never know but it could end 6 points each. Special mention to captain Kane Russell who won 2 points and a resurgent Rufus Thurbron who also won 2 points. Bearing mind the conditions the there was some excellent play so there is still hopes of a league win and an appearance at the final being held at Felixstowe Ferry.
