English Under 18 Stoke play Championship (Carris Trophy)

The English Under 18 Stroke play Championship (Carris Trophy) was held at Bristol and Clifton Golf Club 20/23 July. It is a 72 hole event with a cut after 36 holes, the top 60 players and ties progressing to play the final 36 holes. 144  players took part which included two Suffolk boys ,both made the cut which fell at +6

Tyler Weaver shot 70-71-72-70 for a 3 over par total of 283 and 12th place whilst Teddy Hall  carded 72-70-72-71 for a 5 over par total of 285 and 19th place.

Harley Smith (The Rayleigh) won the event with rounds of 67-66-68 -71 for a total of 270- 8 under par.
