Eastern Counties Cup (OoM)

The Eastern Counties Cup, a Suffolk Order of Merit event in the Woodward Markwell Race to Aldeburgh, was held at Woodbridge Golf Club on Saturday 17th July. 51 players took part.

The lowest gross score was returned by Gregor Tait (Aldeburgh) a plus 5 handicapper with 142 from Tom Owen, plus 3 (Rochford Hundred) 143 and John Blackmore, 4 handicap (Felixstowe Ferry) with 145

The best nett and winner of the Eastern Counties Cup was John Blackmore (Felixstowe Ferry) with 145 gross nett 137. Andrew Moss, 7 handicap (Bury St Edmunds) was runner up  with 155 nett 141 and Adrian Studd, 5 handicap (Woodbridge) and Rod Powney, 2 handicap (Woodbridge) both nett 142
