Dell Bower Trophy and Tony Garnett Cup

6 Trainee professionals and 13 invited amateurs took part in the annual invitation event held at Hintlesham Golf Club on Monday 17th October.

In the morning round Tyler Weaver (Bury St Edmunds) returned a 7 under par 65, Sam Forgan  (Pro attached to Felixstowe Ferry) a 67 and Alfie Halil (Flempton) and Jonathan Brown (Pro- Bury St Edmunds) both 70’s

The lowest afternoon score was returned by Alexandra Sparrow, plus 2 from Stoke By Nayland.

Weaver added an afternoon 74 for a total of 139 leaving him the leading amateur and winner of the Tony Garnett Cup,1 shot ahead of Halil who added a further 70, with Sparrow and Teddy Hall (Bury St Edmunds) with 71-71 tied 3rd on 142.

Forgan was the leading professional and winner of the De;ll Bower Trophy after adding an afternoon 72 on 139, 9 shots ahead of 2nd placed James Cooper on 148.
