County Team v Professionals

Suffolk began preparations for their new Anglian League season with a match against a team of professionals at Hintlesham Golf Club on Sunday 2nd February.

The first game saw George Fricker and Ben Coleman against Paul Waring and Will Farley with the professional pairing winning by 3 & 1.

Sam Byford and Habebul Islam halved the second game against Hugo Dobson and Sam Forgan. Game three saw Chris Vince and new County Second Team Captain, James Tyler, go down by 1 hole to Chris Soanes and Calvin Sherwood.

In the final game Sam Debenham and Jack Cardy won 4 & 3 against Joe Cardy and Chris Smith leaving the Professionals winners by 2.5 to 1.5
