Beaumont Cup reaches the Semi final stage

The Beaumont cup quarterfinals were played on Thursday. The stand out performance was from Halesworth who visited Haverhill and came away victors by 8 holes. In other ties Bramford had a comfortable win over The Suffolk who weren’t able to repeat their heroics of the previous round. Fynn Valley defeated Brett Vale by 14 holes. Bury St Edmunds had a sterner test from Hintlesham but did run out winners by 5 holes. The front two Bury St Edmunds groups were 7 up and despite a 3 hole reversal in match 3 Bury were comfortably ahead at the end.

The Semifinals will be played on Thursday 7th August

Halesworth will play Bramford at Diss GC with a 10.15 start

Bury St Edmunds will play Fynn Valley at Stowmarket with a 12 midday start.
