BEAUMONT CUP FIRST ROUND

The first round Beaumont cup matches were played in glorious weather on Thursday 2nd May. There were some stellar performances from the visiting sides with notable wins for Rushmere at Southwold, Stowmarket at Fynn Valley, Gorleston at Woodbridge and Bramford at St Audrys. Those winners are joined in the next round by Bungay who fought off a strong challenge from Felixstowe Ferry, Bury St Edmunds, Halesworth and Secford. The next round is on Thursday 6th June and sees holders Ufford Park enter the competition with a home fixture against Bungay and Waveney Valley. The results can be viewed by clicking RESULTS

The match between Ipswich and Diss, by agreement was played on Wednesday 8th May and saw Diss win by one hole in a close and tense match.
