Nick Reiss Memorial Trophy and Sam Jaggard Trophy

Nick Reiss Memorial Trophy and Sam Jaggard Trophy

The Nick Reiss Memorial Trophy and the Sam Jaggard Trophy are awarded annually by the SGU Junior Committee to an Under 18 player and an Under 16 player respectively. The award not only reflects their golfing ability and achievements but also takes into account the example they set to their peers in the way they conduct themselves on and off the golf course, their commitment to SGU junior coaching sessions and their willingness to make themselves available for county matches.

For 2022 the Nick Reiss Memorial Trophy was awarded to Harry Brinded (Aldeburgh) and the Sam Jaggard Trophy was awarded to Kane Russell (Haverhill) and they were presented at the final county coaching session at Aldeburgh on 5th March. Both awards were unanimous decisions of the Committee.
