England Golf Men’s County Championship qualifying
Suffolk were at Eaton Golf on Saturday 10th July competing against 10 other South East Counties in attempting to qualify for the England Golf County Championship Finals to be played at Remedy Oak Golf Club 24-26th September. Scoring is the best 5 from 6 in the morning and afternoon rounds.
Suffolk were a combined 2 under par in the morning – scores counting being Gregor Tait 66, Habebul Islam 70, George Fricker 68, Max Weaver 71 and Monty Scowsill 73 This was followed by a combined 1 under par in the afternoon with Gregor Tait adding a 69, Max Weaver 68, Habebul Islam 68, and George Fricker and Monty Scowsill both 73’s leaving Suffolk on 3 under par and in 7th place overall.
BB&O qualify for the finals with a combined 25 under par with Connor Gough (BB&O) carding the lowest individual score with 69-61 -130 10 under par.
