It is with great sadness that The Suffolk Golf Union records the death last week of Past County President David Houston.
David was an enthusiastic servant of the Union for many years, having been instrumental in establishing the County’s Junior Programme which was the envy of many larger Counties. David was President of the County Union in 2004/5 and received the Winstanley Trophy in 2007, which is awarded for exceptional performance or contribution to Suffolk Golf.
The Union’s deepest sympathy reaches out to his wife and his family.
