SGU to assist clubs with purchase of Course Handicap Table
The World Handicap System remains scheduled to be implemented on the 2nd November. Clubs will need to display Course Handicap Tables from this date and these can be obtained through Eagle Promotions. England Golf are providing a voucher for £40 to assist towards the cost.
The County Union has agreed to support this necessary purchase with a payment to all Suffolk clubs of £200 which coupled with the EG voucher should cover the cost incurred by the majority of clubs.
Once the Course Handicap Table has been purchased clubs can obtain the payment by emailing the County Finance Director, Peter Sledmere.
