Suffolk v Cambridgeshire (Anglian League)

Suffolk entertained Cambridgeshire, in the latest series of Anglian League matches, at Hintlesham Golf Club on Sunday 1st August.

The morning foursomes saw the teams finish level at 2-2 with wins for Suffolk from Habebul Islam and Max Weaver and Jack Cardy and Sam Debenham.

In the afternoon singles there were wins from Gregor Tait who had a hole in one on the 199 yard 10th hole,, Russell Oakey and Weaver with Cardy halving his match which left Cambridgeshire the winners by 6.5 to 5.5

Suffolk 2nds were away to Cambridgeshire at St Neots Golf Club.

Suffolk lost the morning foursomes 4-0, however,there were wins for Dan Smailes, Toby Ayles and Marc Duszynski in the afternoon singles whilst Ian Brown was conceded his game leaving Cambridgeshire 2nds the winners by 8-4
