SUFFOLK U14`S COMPETE IN THE ANGLIAN SHIELD MATCH
The Suffolk U14 team competed in the Anglian Shield match against Essex yesterday at Colne Valley Golf Club.
This annual tournament was played on a course in wonderful condition – with tight fairways and very slick greens, it proved a challenging test for all. Essex, having the home advantage, were the eventual winners 6 – 2. However, our Suffolk Team played well, with many matches being pretty close towards the end so the result could have been much closer.
Well played to the lads, the Suffolk team consisting of James Sadler, Jonathan Points, Ethan McCleary, Finley Edwards, Lucas Bond, Max Elliott, Shae Baldwin and George McLellan.
