Suffolk 3rd in Eastern Inter Counties Foursomes
Suffolk finished 3rd from 9 Counties who competed in the Eastern Inter-Counties Foursomes played at Seacroft Golf Club, Skegness over the weekend of the 18/19th May.
Suffolk had wins over Cambridgeshire, BB&O and Norfolk and draws with Northants, Bedfordshire and Essex whilst losing narrowly 3-2 to both Leicestershire & Rutland and Lincolnshire. Leicestershire & Rutland won the event with a total of 26 points from Lincolnshire on 23.5 and Suffolk 23.
Youngsters Alfie Halil and George Fricker took 6.5 points from a possible 8.
