Spraggs and Johnson winners of Suffolk Punch

Ufford Park Golf Club was the venue for the Suffolk Punch Trophy, a Suffolk Handicap Order of Merit event, on Thursday 2nd June. 36 players took part.

Patrick Spraggs (Aldeburgh) took the scratch prize with 74-72 for 146 from Ivan Fryer (Aldeburgh Artisans) 76-72-147 and Declan Condon (Woodbridge) 74-75-149. Ben Sayers (Felixstowe Ferry) carded the only sub par round with a morning 71.

The handicap Trophy went to Fraser Johnson, 8 handicap from the home club, who shot 76-77- for 153 nett 137. He finished 6 shots clear of 2nd placed Joshua Nelli, also Ufford Park on 143 with Ivan Fryer 3rd on 147
