Silver Frigate (OoM)
Thorpeness Golf Club held their Silver Frigate, a Suffolk Order of Merit event in the Woodward Markwell Race to Aldeburgh, on Saturday 10th July. 38 players took part.
The best scratch score was returned by Joshua Spall, 7 handicap, with 78 followed closely by Harry Brinded, 3 handicap, with 79 and Joshua Mackey, 2 handicap, with 80.
Joshua Spall also carded the lowest nett score with 71 to take the Silver Frigate trophy from Richard Newton 72 who finished ahead of Alan Chamberlain who also had a nett 72 on countback. Robert Bacon with a nett 74 was 4th.
