Scottish Men’s Open Championship
Three Suffolk players took part in the Scottish Men’s Open Championship held at The Dukes course, St Andrews 23-25th August.
Habebul Islam (Ipswich) with 80-75 and Max Adams (Bury St Edmunds) with 81-75 both missed the cut which fell at 145 +7, the top 40 players + ties progressing to play the final 36 holes.
James Biggs (Diss) shot 75-70 and added 74 -72 to see him finish in 33rd place on 291, 7 over par.
The winner was Jake Bolton from Ogbourne Downs Golf Club who carded 64-68-76-64 for a 12 under par total of 272
