JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT HUB, SEASON FINAL 9 HOLE COMPETITION

Seventeen players, 15 boys and 2 girls, from the Junior Development Hubs took part in an end of season nine-hole Stableford competition at St Audrys Golf Club. Their scores will be recorded on their WHS record and for the four players who have not yet got a handicap, their scores will go towards the cards needed to attain a handicap.

Adrian Currie (Bungay) won the competition with 20 points and a prize for the best score for the players without a handicap was awarded to Herbert Bishop-Penn (Felixstowe Ferry) who scored a gross 47.

St. Audrys proved to be an ideal choice as the venue to hold the competition. Full marks to the greens staff who presented the course in excellent condition despite the exceptional amount of rain that had fallen in the preceding days. Thanks also go to the club management team who helped to ensure that the day went without a hitch.
