Hambro Quarterfinal line up revealed

After some welcome overnight rain Sunday saw the 2nd round of the Hambro played. The outstanding result was a tight 3 hole win for Hintlesham who were visiting Haverhill. Meanwhile Woodbridge went to Ipswich and came away with a 7 hole win for place in the quarterfinal.

Holders Bungay and Waveney Valley faced a tough draw in visiting Rushmere. Peter Robinson was able to report an 8 hole victory for the home side. Last years beaten finalists Bury St Edmunds visited Thorpeness where this years campaign came to end with the home side claiming a 17 hole victory. Rookery Park claimed a comfortable 9 hole win in the local derby with Halesworth. There were home wins for Gorleston and Felixstowe Ferry (pictured before their match with Fynn Valley) who may have benefitted from the windy conditions. Brett Vale complete the line up after getting a walk over.
