Hambro Cup Final
The final of the Hambro Cup, between Rushmere and Woodbridge was played at Rookery Park Golf Club on Sunday 25th August.
The morning round saw Rushmere establish a 3 hole lead thanks mainly to a 6 hole win by Alan Middle and Josh Cottrell. Both Woodbridge pairings of Steve Mann and Toby Ayles and Gary Seaman and Ricky Dzierozynski won 2 up with the Rushmere pairing of Matt and James Godbold 1 up.
The afternoon saw 2 games halved with the Rushmere pairing of Ross Howard and Peter Robinson 5 up and Gary Seaman and Ricky Dzerozynski- Woodbridge 4 up leaving Rushmere winners by 4 holes.
