Hall beaten in r & A Boys Amateur Championship

The R & A Boys Amateur Championship was played at Carnoustie, Panmuir and Montifeth Golf Clubs 8-14 August.

Teddy Hall (Bury St Edmunds) was Suffolk’s only entrant.  After 36 holes the top 64 qualifiers progressed to the Match play stage and Hall despite opening with a 78 returned a superb 65 on day two to make the cut. Unfortunately he lost 2 down to Monty Holcombe (Walton Heath) in the first round of the match play.
