English Junior Champion Club Tournament

The English Junior Champion Club Tournament was held at Woodhall Spa Golf Club (Hotchkin course) on Monday 12- Tuesday 13th August. 31 Counties were represented. Suffolk’s representatives were Rookery Park having won the Suffolk Junior Team Championship earlier this year.

The opening round saw Rookery Park in 20th place after registering 62 points, 2 from 3 scores to count. The boys added 61 on day 2 which left them in 22nd place overall. The course was extremely challenging with penal rough and fast greens. Never the less the team enjoyed the experience.

Individual scores- Josh Altham 31-31, Spencer Eade 22-22 and Matthew Pike 30-30

The competition was won by Saltford, Somerset with a fantastic score of 149
