Eastern Counties Inter-County Foursomes
Suffolk were competing in the Eastern Counties Inter- County Foursomes against 8 other Counties at Seacroft Golf Club, Skegness over the weekend of the 14/15th August. Their squad of 11 players from which 10 played in each session – match play played on a triangular format, was Jack Cardy, Sam Debenham, Ben Sayers, Josh Driver, James Tyler, Teddy Hall, Andres Acevedo, Gregor Tait, Ben Coleman, Monty Scowsill and Habebul Islam
Suffolk Results– drew with Essex, Lost 3-2 to BB&O, lost to Leicestershire 3.5 to 1.5, lost to Norfolk 3.5 to1.5., beat Bedfordshire 4-1, drew with Lincolnshire, Lost to Cambridgeshire 3-2 and drew with Northamptonshire.
Their total of 18.5 points saw them finish in 6th place.- Points won individual- Cardy 3.5, Debenham 3.5, Scowsill 6, Islam 6, Sayers 4.5, Hall 4, Coleman 2, Tyler 2, Tait 2.5, Acevedo 2.5 and Driver 0..5
The winners of the event were BB&O with 27.5 points
