Duffety is inaugural Seniors Matchplay Champion

The Semi Finals and Final of the inaugural Suffolk Seniors Matchplay Championship were held at Rookery Park Golf Club on Friday 20th September.

The 1st Semi Final saw Stephen Duffety (Bury St Edmunds) defeat Paul Buckle (Stowmarket) at the 1st extra hole. In the other game Adrian Studd (Woodbridge) overcame Simon Bearman (Hintlesham) by 1 hole.

Duffety beat Studd in the final 4 & 3 to become the inaugural Suffolk Senior Matchplay Champion and claim the Platten Salver.
