Bungay & Waveney Valley Golf Club held their Junior Open on Sunday 8th September. 36 players, including 13 girls, took part.

The lowest gross score,winning the Geoffrey Watts Trophy, was achieved by Tyler Weaver (Bury St Edmunds) with 73 from Jack Butcher (Gorleston) with 76.

The boys 0-14 handicap was won by Harry Lake (Beadlow Manor) with a nett 67 on count back from Fraser Johnson (Ufford Park) also with 67 and Callum Pearce (Ufford Park) with 68. The boys handicap 15-28 winner was Will Chapman (Beadlow Manor) with a nett 69 from Robbie Simpson (Beadlow Manor) 71 and Louie Jordan (Halesworth) 72

The girls lowest gross and winner of the Yolie Dye Trophy was Poppy Beales (Middleton Hall) with 79 on count back from Chloe Tarbard (Heacham Manor) also with 79. The girls handicap went to Abigail Carr (Gorleston) with a nett 68 from Imogen Potter (Diss) with 69.

The Schwer Team Trophy went to the Beadlow Manor team of Harry Lake, Robbie Simpson and Ed Tubridy with the Bury St Edmunds trio, Tyler Weaver, Jack Rust and Sophie Kubitzek 2nd. Nearest the pin prizes went to Robbie Simpson ( Beadlow Manor) and Anabella Hay (Beadlow Manor)
