Brabazon Trophy
Two Suffolk Players qualified to play in the Brabazon Trophy which was held at Ganton Golf Club 18-22nd August. The event is played over 72 holes with a cut made after 36 holes with the top 60 players + ties progressing to play the final 36 holes.
Both players successfully made the cut. Monty Scowsill (Woodbridge) had rounds of 70-76-74-75 for 11 over par 295 and 48th place whilst Andres Acevedo (Hintlesham) returned 73-69-75 and 75 for 8 over par and 41st place
The Trophy went to Sam Bairstow from Hallowes Golf Club with 66-69-69-69 for 273-11 under par.
