2025 Parks Trophy Round 1 completed

The 2025 Parks Trophy round 1 was completed on Thursday 15th May. Holders Bungay and Waveney Valley faced a tough trip to Rushmere and after a good match were defeated by 4 holes. Last years runners up faced a difficult derby match with Gorleston and Rookery Park bowed out as well at the first stage this year.

Another local derby was Woodbridge playing Aldeburgh. Aldeburgh managed a creditable 1 hole win away from home and will now travel to Gorleston in the next round. Southwold (pictured) had a tough game with Stowmarket and won by 5 holes. Elsewhere there were wins for Seckford and Halesworth.
