Junior Winter Training 2025

A fine day of blue skies over Aldeburgh Golf Club saw Suffolk’s Under 16 & Under 18 squads get together for their final day of winter coaching. Alongside more training and learning the boys undertook skills tests as they have done all winter. In this final session prizes were awarded to those who topped the leaderboards in all of the skills tests.

Another big moment of the final session was Manager Jim Harrison selecting his captains for the upcoming season. Congratulations to Charlie Langdon and Kane Russell who will be captaining their respective age groups this year.

Sunday also saw two boys presented with very special awards – The Sam Jaggard Trophy and The Nick Reiss Memorial Trophy. These are awarded to players who have contributed greatly to Suffolk Golf and not just on the course. These players have shown tremendous character and been great role models for their peers and playing partners. Congratulations to Charlie Langdon and Patrick Coffey who deservedly collected these awards.
