Tait wins 3rd Elite Medal

Suffolk Golf Union held the 3rd of their Elite Medals at Bury St Edmunds Golf Club , preparation for the forthcoming England Golf County Qualifier,on Friday 24th June. 12 invited players took part.

Gregor Tait (Aldeburgh) carded a 6 under par 66 to take 1st place. With two holes to play he had every chance of breaking the course record which stands at 65, however his birdie putt on the 17th sat on the edge of the hole and he failed to hole from 7 feet on the 18th.

Patrick Spraggs (Aldeburgh) took 2nd place with a 2 under par 70 with Alfie Halil 3rd with a 1 under par 71.
