Suffolk Seniors v Norfolk Seniors

Suffolk Seniors had arranged a warm up game against Norfolk prior to them competing in the English Senior Men’s Championship which was to be held at Torquay Golf Club between the 5th and 7th October, but which has been cancelled due to Covid concerns.

The match comprising of 6 foursomes was played at Halesworth Golf Club on Friday 18th September.

Suffolk ran our winners by 4.5 to 1.5

Scores– Roger Taylor and James O’Doherty beat Mark Williamson and David Patrick 1 up, Simon Bearman and Paul Buckle halved with John Taverner and Alistair Pykett, Stephen Crosby and Steve Mann beat Adrian Myhill and Mike Horley 4 & 2, Stephen Whymark and Nigel Robson beat Mark Skipper and Roger Finney 2 & 1, Adrian Studd and Gary Seaman lost to Mark Jennings and Steve Beckham 3 & 2, Peter Revell and Peter Brady beat Paul Robson and Gary Brayshaw 3 & 2.
