Under 18s miss out on first league outing
Suffolk 18s got their league campaign underway on Sunday this week.
The first league outing for the u18x was at Millbrook in Bedfordshire. Suffolk were facing a strong looking Norfolk side and the home side boosted by some new faces this year who proved to be very strong.
Perhaps the end results could be described as disappointing however but for 2 missed putts on the 18th the match against Norfolk would have been drawn. Bedfordshire, using some local knowledge, were outstanding winning against both counties 6.5 to 1.5. Norfolk ended 5.5 to 2.5 victors over Suffolk with a mention to Josh Emery for his 1.5 points.
