Suffolk U14`s compete in the England Golf, Regional Final
Having won their U14 league this year, our Suffolk lads successfully win Bronze medals in the final at Knebworth Golf Club

The Suffolk U14`s competed in their league final at Knebworth Golf Club yesterday against Surrey and Kent. With Suffolk having won the regional league to qualify for the final, this in effect resulted in the team coming third out of eleven counties across the England Golf, South East Group region.
Played on a tightly tree lined undulating course and at 6,574 yard par 71, it was certainly a good test. Additionally, whilst it was dry at the start, the heavens did open a couple of times which made for very challenging golf indeed!
The Suffolk lads played very well to gain their wonderful Bronze medals and as always, our guys played to very high standards of performance and etiquette. Overall, Surrey just pipped Kent on countback so it really could have gone either way, but well done to Surrey.
Everyone; the players, parents and officials, had a wonderful day - we are certainly all very proud of their achievements this year. A credit to Suffolk Golf.
