The scratch order of merit qualifying was completed following the match play finals on Sunday last. The qualifiers are now known for the Race to Aldeburgh final and they will be invited to play in due course along with those that qualified for the Senior and Junior order of merits as well. Patrick Coffey leads both the Junior and the scratch but having gone to the USA will not be available to earn anymore points. With 300 points available to the winners of each event the winner may well leap frog all the rivals. The senior order of merit is particularly close with the top 6 contesting on the day.

Meanwhile the handicap order of merit, which completed after the Suffolk Punch event at Halesworth sees Dominic Rosser as the runaway leader. The top 9 will be invited to the final event.
